A lawyer on paper, but above all a creative soul by nature. Katrien Smets is a jack of all trades: news anchor, presenter, DJ, moderator, voice-over artist and she reads aloud in retirement homes for the Red Cross.

After spending time in Paris and Los Angeles, she returned to Belgium, where she started working as an editor for various production companies. After a chance audition on ROB-TV, she presented her first live talk show. Proof that life often pushes you in the right direction.

What's more, driven by ethical and sustainable convictions, she also founded her own fashion label, which was picked up by multi-brand stores at home and abroad.

In addition to fashion, music is also a common thread: in the late 1990s, she discovered her love for electronic music. Today, she is behind the turntables herself. Since Covid, that passion has gained momentum and she has DJed in Ibiza, Marrakech and Porto, among other places.
